fyeahuniverse: A white killer whale was spotted off Russia this month and it may well be the only of it’s kind. Scientist nearby were observing social interactions between dolphins and whales when they saw a nearly two meter white dorsal fin above the waves. Though the killer whale, named iceberg, may not be a true albino due to some colouring below his dorsal fin.

fyeahuniverse: NASA inspired plant wheel When NASA needed a way to grow plants in space, they came up with a wheel as such. This design was adapted by DesignLibero to come up with this very sleek, modern garden. The wheel holds over 8 feet of plants, which is surprising due to its size. The entire garden is a powersaver as only one small light is necessary, whereas two larger ones maybe needed for a garden of the same size on a flat bed. (Images by DesignLibero)
